Hi there! I'm Anne. I'm 23 years old, and I live in a small town in West Virginia with my amazing boyfriend and his boys. I was born in North Carolina, but I've spent nearly my entire life from the age of 3 onward here in WV. I'm definitely an Appalachian gal. I consider myself a unique, honest, creative, and adventurous woman. I went to college, but I'm currently not using my degree; I have been working two jobs as a bartender and a waitress on and off for a couple of years now. You're probably reading this post because you'd like to know more about me, and I'd like for that to happen too, which is why I created this blog. I hope you enjoy following along for the journey, and I'm excited to share my life with you! If you've stopped by on accident, you're just passing through, or this isn't your thing, that's totally cool--maybe I will run into you again on the internet another day!
In an attempt to help you decide if my blog is something you'd like to follow, I'll share some facts about myself and my lifestyle. I think this will not only help me give you a better idea of who I am, but these facts about me will be a lot of the topics I'll be blogging about.
1. I drink coffee nearly everyday, and I am very much a coffee fanatic. I have coffee subscriptions (yes, plural).
2. I'm an artist. I grew up performing in choirs and a community theatre program for youth. I love to draw, paint, and just get crafty as hell with DIY projects in my free time. My degree is in Arts Administration for Theatre, and I hope to find a career in that field sooner rather than later.
3. I love games. Cards, puzzles, board games, video games, you name it. I'm always down to play anything.
4. Cooking is both a burden and my favorite past time; it depends on the day. I love trying and cooking new foods and recipes, but I am only in the mood to cook about 50% of the times I should want to cook. Those nights I don't want to cook are the nights I usually order Dominos.
5. I love fashion and makeup, so I love to talk about styling and giving/receiving fashion & beauty advice, but I rarely go shopping for myself because I'm balling on a budget and gotta make it work.
6. I have 9 tattoos. Some of them have very deep meaning, and some of them are what I like to call my "silly" tats. Either way, I love all of them and will never regret any of them. And yes, I want at least 9 more.
